Method 2: Bulk Operation
Administrators can individually modify approval information for a specific issue or batch modify approval information for multiple issues, including adding approvers, deleting approvers, modifying approval condition and all approvers participate settings.
1. Choose Issues
Select the issues which you want to update approval information according to the 1-2-3-4-5-6 steps shown in the figure.
2. Choose Operation
Choose “Administrator Updates Approval Information[WorkflowWise]“.
If one of the selected issues does not need to be approved or the current user does not have administrator privileges, it cannot be selected.
3. Fill In The Modify Information
If you want to add or delete approvers, you can select users in positions 1 and 2. Both adding and deleting approvers support multiple selections, and you can enter username, full name, or email to search for users.
If you want to modify the approval condition, please make sure to check the box in position 3 first. If you want to modify all approvers participate settings, please make sure to check the box in position 4 first.
If you want to modify the specific value of the approval condition without changing the pass way, you can press the Backspace key on the keyboard to delete the value from the pass way drop-down menu.
4. Confirmation
You can browse the specific modification information in this step.
5. Perform Modification Operation
Click the confirm button in step 4 to perform the modification operation.
If modifying approval information results in certain selected issues directly generating approval results, the status of the issues will be automatically changed. If there are multiple pass/reject transitions set by the approval rules, the status flow will be based on the first transition by default.
If the status has not changed and an approver is added, the new approver will be notified for approval.
