3.1.4 Plan work for others, and view work plans of others

1. Introduction

Users with Plan work for others, and view work plans of others permission can create, edit, view and delete plans for other users in the project.

There are two types of users who have this permission:

  • Jira Project Leader

  • Users in TimeWise Project Planner project role

2. Configuration

2.1 Batch Add TimeWise Project Planner in [Permission]

Click "Configuration" in the figure above to add the project role of TimeWise Project Planner to users in batch.

Click "Add":

  • User/Group: Select user or user group, multiple choices are allowed

  • Project: Select project, multiple choices are allowed

2.2 Add TimeWise Project Planner in [Project settings]

In Project Settings > Users and Roles, Add users to the TimeWise Project Planner project role, and these users will have the permission to Plan work for others, and view work plans of others.

3. Application

Users with Plan work for others, and view work plans of others permission can plan for others in project.

  • Users with plan work for others, and view work plans of others in project permission:

 

  • General Users: can only creat work plans for himself.

 

Note: User "Li Si" only has TimeWise to view other people's logs for "Project 1" and "Project 2", and cannot record logs for others. Therefore, he cannot see the log information of user "Wang Wu" in "Project 3".
