3.1.3 Log work for others, and view work logs of others
1. Introduction
Users with Log work for others,and view work logs of others in Project permission can create, edit, view and delete logs for other users in the project.
There are two types of users who have this permission:
Jira Project Leader
Users in TimeWise Project Logger project role
2. Configuration
2.1 Batch Add TimeWise Project Logger in [Permission]
Click "Configuration" in the figure above to add the project role of TimeWise Project Logger to users in batch.
Click "Add":
User/Group: Select user or user group, multiple choices are allowed
Project: Select project, multiple choices are allowed
2.2 Add TimeWise Project Logger in [Project settings]
In Project Settings > Users and Roles, Add users to the TimeWise Project Logger project role, and these users will have the permission to Log work for others, and view work logs of others.
3. Application
Users with Log work for others, and view work logs of others in Project permission can log for others in project.
Users with log work for others,and view work logs of others in Project permission:
General Users: can only creat work logs for himself.
Note: User "Li Si" only has TimeWise to view other people's logs for "Project 1" and "Project 2", and cannot record logs for others. Therefore, he cannot see the log information of user "Wang Wu" in "Project 3".
