3.1.5 Only able to view other's work logs, unable to log work for others
1. Introduction
Users with Only able to view other's work logs, unable to log work for others permission can view the logs of general users, but cannot record logs for general users in the project.
There are two types of users who have this permission:
Jira Project Leader
Users in TimeWise Project Log Viewer project role
2. Configuration
2.1 Batch Add TimeWise Project Log Viewer in [Permission]
Click "Configuration" in the figure above to add the project role of TimeWise Project Log Viewer to users in batch.
Click "Add":
User/Group: Select user or user group, multiple choices are allowed
Project: Select project, multiple choices are allowed
2.2 Add TimeWise Project Planner in [Project settings]
In Project Settings > Users and Roles, Add users to the TimeWise Project Log Viewer project role, and these users will have the permission to Plan work for others, and view work plans of others.
3. Application
Users with Only able to view other's work logs, unable to log work for others permission can plan for others in project.
Note: User "Li Si" only has TimeWise to view other people's logs for "Project 1" and "Project 2", and cannot record logs for others. Therefore, he cannot see the log information of user "Wang Wu" in "Project 3".
