1.1.2 Converting Work Plans to Work Logs

  1. Go to  Administration > Manage apps

  2. Under "TIMEWISE" in the left sidebar, click System Settings

  3. Switch on/off Quick log from plan

1. Purpose

This feature allows the app to directly generate work logs from the work plans. Users can make adjustments on the Converting Plans to Logs page, by editing hours worked, adding a description, etc. Users can choose to submit a single item or bulk submit.

2. Enabling the feature

As shown in the figure below, you can use this function by turning on Quick log from plan, and you can choose “how far back in time to go” with the Current date forward parameter. For example, if you select 30 days, only work plans from within the last 30 days will be used.

Note: If you turn on Limit entry rules for log work, the date range of the plan-to-log conversion will be determined by both the date specified in Monthly x and Current date forward

For Example, if Monthly x = 7 and Current date forward = 30 days,

  • If today is June 6th, the effective date range is May 2nd ~ June 6th

  • If today is June 8th, the effective date range is June 1st ~ June 8th
