Email Notification Configuration

To configure email notification, you need to configure the mail server in the JIRA system. Configure the mail server in System → Outgoing Mail

Email notification will be sent under the following two situation: 

One is Auto Send: When the Auto Send switch is on and the workflow goes to a status that requires approval, the system will automatically send email notification to all approvers.

Another one is Manually Send: When the Manually Send switch is on, there will be a prompt icon (as shown in the picture below) in the Issue approval panel. When the mouse hover over the prompt icon, the Mail icon will be displayed. Click the "Mail" icon, you can send Email notifications for specified unapproved approvers. 

 

What can we offer ?

  • Mail templates can be customized

          After configuring the mail server, we will provide the default mail template. You can also modify the subject and content of the mail template.

  • A large number of dynamic variables to help administrators configure the template

          On the left side of the page, we provide a large number of dynamic variables that you can apply to your email template to dynamically send email content for each approval.

  • Mail template support reset

          Click the reset button below the template to reset the template to its original appearance
