1.1 Workday Scheme

1. Introduction

Configure which dates belong to working days and which belong to non working days.

You can configure different workday schemes for different groups. This will be very useful for different teams in different regions.

2. Permission Required

To be able to configure, you must be a Jira administrator. This menu bar will not display to users without required permission.

3. Configuration

3.1 Default Scheme

Groups without a custom scheme configured will use the default scheme.

You can define the fixed working days of each week usually:

  • Choosing (5+2) means Sat. and Sun. are unchangeble day off in default, and the rest days are working days.

  • Choosing (6+1) means Sun. is unchangeable day off in default, and the rest days are working days.

  • Click Custom if you need to define working days your own.

3.2 Custom Scheme

The custom workday scheme can be configured based on user groups.

Note: If a user belongs to multiple groups with assigned schemes, the most recently created scheme will be applied to this user.

  • Choosing (5+2) means Sat. and Sun. are unchangeble day off in default, and the rest days are working days.

  • Choosing (6+1) means Sun. is unchangeable day off in default, and the rest days are working days.

  • Click Custom if you need to define working days your own.

3.3 Associate with Calendar Scheme

Define holidays and special dates in the calendar scheme. Then associate the workday scheme with a calendar scheme.

Note: If a date exists in more than one calendar scheme, the calendar scheme ranked first in the list shall prevail.
