1. Issue Details View

In Jira's Issue Details view, users can also create, edit, view and delete work logs/plans.

1. Create a new work plan

Click the ""+ Plan" button in the upper right corner to bring up the dialog for creating a new work plan: 

 

2. Create a new work log

Click the "+ Log" button in the upper right corner to bring up the dialog window for creating a new work log:

 

3. View work plans/logs 

Regular project members can view the work plans/logs they have made in the current task, and switch between "All / Plans Only / Logs Only".

Users with the TimeWise Project Manager permission can view work plans and logs that all project members have made in the current task. The user can switch between "All Users / Myself" in addtion to switching between "All / Plans Only / Log Only"

Work logs/Plans are display in the issue view like so:
From left to right, the type (work plan/log), work plan/log remark, Author (visible to project managers only), date, scheduled/recorded work time, edit and delete functions . 

 

If the current issue is in a project that has auditing enabled, auditing status and information is displayed as follows: 

  1. Unsubmitted


  Regular Users, Project Managers: Orange 
  

  1. Pending


   Regular users:

  • Self-reviewed data: Gray

   Project Manager:   

  • Self-Reviewed data: Gray

  • Data to be audited assigned to you: Gray

  • Data to be audited assigned to other auditers: Gray

 

  1. Audited


    No Color

Note:

  • For periodic work plans, the "Date" column above is the plan start date, and below is the plan end date; the "Scheduled Work Time" column above is the planned total work hours, and the lower brackets are the daily planned work hours.

  • View Details, Edit and Delete functions will only be displayed when the mouse is over the work plan.  


4. Editing work plans/logs

 

Note:

  • If the audit function is not enabled for the current project: Users with the TimeWise Project Manager permission can edit work plans created by regular project members, and can edit others' work logs depends on the permission scheme.

  • If the audit function is enabled for the current project: Work plans and logs in the Pending or Audited status cannot be editied.


5. Delete work plans/logs

Note:

  • If the audit function is not enabled for the current project: Users with the TimeWise Project Manager permission can delete work plans created by regular project members, and can delete others' work logs depends on the permission scheme.

  • If the audit function is enabled for the current project: Work plans and logs in the Pending or Audited status cannot be deleted.

6. Statistics of work plan and work log

Count the working hours of the work plan and work log under the current problem and its subtasks. If you are a normal user, you can only view your own statistical information. If the user has the permission to view the work hours of other users, you can view the work hours information of all users .

When a user with the permission to view other users' working hours logs in, they can view the working hours information of all users. As shown in the figure below, Tom is the project leader.

When an ordinary user logs in, he can only view his own statistical information. As shown in the figure below, Vivi is an ordinary user.

Note:

  • The subtask list only displays the question key of the subtask. The complete question summary will be displayed when the mouse is hovered. Click to jump to the subtask details page;

  • When a user with the permission to view other users' working hours logs in, the [Include other users] check box will be displayed. Uncheck it to display only their own statistical information;

  • As shown in the figure, in a format like 3h / 3h, the left side is the work log, and the right side is the work plan. A prompt message will be displayed when the mouse is hovered;

  • The currently logged-in user is always at the top of the user list.
