Validators
Workflow Extension require administrator privileges, you must be an administrator to perform actions on this page.
The main purpose of the validator is that when the user performs a certain conversion action, if a validator is added to this action, the system will verify whether the conversion can be performed according to this validator before the state is converted. If the verification fails, An error message will be displayed on the issue page.
How to add a validator ?
Login to your jira system as administrator
Click the gear icon in the upper right to enter the Issues
Click 'Workflow' in the menu item on the left, select the workflow for which you need to add a validator, and click Edit
Click on the transition action for which you want to add a validator and click on the validator on the right
Click Add validator
