Complete the required workflow configuration according to your business scenario. Before embarking on your data synchronization journey, please make sure to configure the issue type, otherwise it cannot proceed. When the issue type is not configured, the "Workflow Configuration" tab cannot be used.

#Entrance

The administrator logs in to the Jira system, clicks on the gear icon, selects "Manage apps" (as shown in Figure 1) and then finds the "SYNC TO JIRA" plugin menu.(as shown in Figure 2)

Click on "Project Configuration" to enter the "Project configuration" page.The "Project configuration" screen is as follows:

Click on "Configuration" to enter the detailed configuration screen and click “Workflow“ tab, then the “Workflow configuration” screen is shown as follows:

#Function

1、Add a workflow configuration

Click the "Add" button on the upper right of the "Workflow Configuration" page and the lower screen will pop up.(As shown in Figure 3 below)

  • Local workflow: Required, Workflow of the local Jira system.(As shown in Figure 3 above)

  • Target workflow: Required, Workflow of the target Jira system.(As shown in Figure 3 above)

  • Apply to all local issue types: Checked by default. If unchecked, you can select the issue type to be specified.(As shown in Figure 4 above)

  • Local workflow status mapping: Not required. The status can be mapped according to the actual situation.(As shown in Figure 5 above)

  • Target workflow status mapping: Not required. The status can be mapped according to the actual situation.(As shown in Figure 6 above)

2、Edit the workflow configuration

Click the "Edit" and the "Edit the workflow configuration" screen will pop up.

Note: You can only edit local or target workflow mappings when editing the workflow configuration.If data synchronization is in progress, the field configuration cannot be modified.This problem solution can be found here: Q&A 3.1

3、Delete the workflow configuration

Click the "Delete" and the following screen will pop up.

Note: If data synchronization is in progress, the workflow configuration cannot be deleted.This problem solution can be found here: Q&A 3.1

4、Status mapping

For the convenience of viewing the configuration data of status mapping, hover the mouse over the "Status Mapping" and the following screen will pop up.

5、Workflow configuration search

If there are too many workflow configuration records, you can search them via local or target Jira system workflow name.
