Before configuring data synchronization, you need to finish global configuration first. You can choose whether to install SYNC TO JIRA plugin on a unilateral system or on a bilateral system based on the actual business scenario.

The administrator logs in to the Jira system, clicks on the gear icon , selects "Manage apps" (as shown in Figure 1) and then finds the "SYNC TO JIRA" plugin menu.(as shown in Figure 2)

Click on "Global Configuration" to enter the "Global Configuration" page. The "Global Configuration" screen is as follows:

Global configuration description:

  • Unilateral installation: Data synchronization can be performed without the need for the target system to install the "SYNC TO JIRA" plugin. This is the default option.

  • Bilateral installation: Both systems need to install the "SYNC TO JIRA" plugin in order to synchronize issues.

  • No labels
