5.2.3 Exception in creating application links
Scenario 1:
One of the two applications that should be linked to each other is in connected and the other is not, giving a "Network error". The premise of establishing a link between applications is that the applications at both ends have a mutual link.
Take creating a link from Confluence to Jira as an example, when creating a redirect back to the application, because Jira cannot recognize the Confluence application url, the application link is not created on the Jira side, so that there is an application link on one end and the other end does not.
Scenario 2:
The corresponding outgoing and incoming of the "Local authentication" of the application links at both ends are different, resulting in "misconfiguration", as shown below.
The local authentication include Oauth, Oauth(impersonation), and Disabled. The configuration principle is that one end is outgoing at the Auth type and the other end is coming in at the Oauth type.
Taking the access from Confluence to Jira as an example, the Confluence end uses Oauth(impersonation) as outcoming, and the Jira end must use Oauth(impersonation) as incoming.
Other special scenes:
If the above situation is excluded, the mutual application links at both ends are all "Network error", which may be caused by non-simultaneous creation.
It is recommended to delete the application links at both ends and recreate them.
